Benjamin Thörnblom - "In the late 1960s a pyromanic family ravaged the Swedish countryside of Börstig, where I live from 1990-2001. Many of my neighbors was mentally scarred for life from the terror this family inflicted upon the area. Hundreds of innocent animals lost their lives in the fire and smoke because the madness of this family. In the end nobody in the family got prison as there was not enough evidence to prove guilt. During the trials two brothers blamed each other for the fires. This and the lacking evidence left the court helpless so the brothers and the family walked free.
The events change Börstig forever, it gave spring for paranoia among the villagers and eventually even generational trauma. Safety and trust got ripped out of the core of the area.
2010 under the influence of a lot of substances, confusion and paranoia I wrote and recorded a song during roughly one or two days. The result became 'Cult of Börstig' which emotionally revolves around these events."

Paralyzed's sophomore effort is an absolute banger and an example of what I hope vintage-styled heavy stoner blues rock can be. Crank it up and rock out. Colin M.

This is extremely interesting. Ostensibly hard rock with a 70s psych flavor, there is really something else going on. The vocals have a jazzy flavor, and the production really makes me think of an unusual yet killer band called Reptile Palace Orchestra- a sort of anything-goes, artsy, avant-garde, almost ‘world’ mish-mash of orchestra and rock. Yet this isn’t that, which the shredding guitar and rock rhythms ensure. Whatever this is, it is brilliant. Lute FP

Original sound, ideas and riffage. Add great vocals and perfect musicianship and you get one hell of an album. These guys are going to be 'zeppelin' big soon.
